Animals As Therapy

Animals as therapy - Make new friends, feel better.

Meeting animals and getting to cuddle or stroke new animal friends is a very therapeutic activity and can be a particularly rewarding experience for children and adults with special needs and those suffering with ill-health, dementia or long-term disabilities.

The Animal Lecture Service has a wide selection of hand-tame animals who love to be stroked, cuddled and of course admired by everyone. We visit nursing and residential care homes and special needs schools, many of whom invite us back time and time again!

Therapy sessions can be arranged in groups or one-on-one. Staff are CRB checked and experienced in giving animal-assisted therapy sessions.
